Hello there,

I always tried to be like my Amma(mother), creative, fashionable and what not! I made my pocket money with the hand crafts from childhood and tried to impress her. She started encouraging me with the raw material, packaging etc. However, due to my studies and lack of business knowledge it faded out eventually.

Years later my school friend asked for help with the Wedding essentials for her special day. She shared few reference pictures and idea of hers. I initially thought I would rather purchase them as a surprise but later realised that handcraft was my hobby. We went to the store, bought few materials and got started. After 2 days we were all set with the accessories.

That's when I started an Instagram page "The Wedding Things" on 25th October 2021 and posted few of her accessories and reference pictures. Thanks to her.

Thankfully my page was recognised well and started receiving a good number of orders from different platforms. As business was new, everyday was different and challenging. I later changed the business name to "Weddess" which I dream't, and to my surprise it turned out the best.​ Things are now starting again and I hope I could be a good friend for my Weddess clients too.
